Benjamin Sanders, 32, of Kings Quarter, Orme Road, Worthing, was fined £147 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit in Broadwater Road, Worthing, on June 14, 2019. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Aktar Zaman, 51, of Heather Close, Horsham, was fined £300 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £1,037 costs, after being found guilty of using premises at The Noor, Ann Street, Worthing, between October 2 and 26, 2018, in contravention of a prohibition order under the Housing Act 2004 relating to a category 1 hazard.

Kurtis Dimond-Swire, 24, of Galsworthy Road, Goring, must pay £60 costs after admitting breaching a community order by failing to attend unpaid work sessions on December 19, 2019, and January 18 and 19, 2020. The order was revoked and he was dealt with for the original offence, receiving a six-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, for failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis at Worthing Custody Centre on November 4, 2019. He must also carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work.

Derek Gunn, 51, of Abbott Court, Worthing, was given a six-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, with Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and must carry out 40 hours’ unpaid work after admitting sending a voicemail message, breaching a restraining order, in Lancing on September 25, 2019. He was given a six-week concurrent prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and must pay £122 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting sending Facebook messages, breaching a restraining order, in Lancing between August 1 and 9, 2019.

Michael Hope, 36, of Maple Court, Wallace Avenue, Worthing, was given a community order with two-week curfew, electronically monitored, from 9pm to 6am daily, and Rehabilitation Activity Requirement after being found guilty of causing £1,050 damage to a van and contents inside in Worthing on May 12, 2019; and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour with intent, causing harassment, alarm or distress. He was given a restraining order and must pay £801.44 compensation.

Jordan Jackson, 27, of Winterberry Way, Wick, was given a community order with Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and fined £50 after admitting driving while disqualified in Green Pond Corner, Havant, on January 30, 2019. He must pay £90 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and was disqualified from driving for six months.

Linto Jodr, 39, of St Augustines Road, Ramsgate, was given a community order with Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and must carry out 80 hours’ unpaid work after admitting assault by beating in Worthing on December 12, 2019. He must pay £90 victim surcharge.

Elliot McDonald, 31, of Southfields Road, Littlehampton, was given an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, with Alcohol Treatment Requirement and Rehabilitation Activity Requirement, and must carry out 40 hours’ unpaid work after admitting failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when required in Potters Mead, Wick, on November 30, 2019. He must pay £122 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and was disqualified from driving for three years.

Adele Cox, 34, of The Quadrant, Goring, was fined £125 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (57mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Goring Road, Goring, on January 12, 2020. She was disqualified from driving for 16 months.

Barry Hodkinson, 68, of Vancouver Road, Durrington, was fined £120 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (81mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Palatine Road, Worthing, on January 10, 2020. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Emily Mitchell, 25, of Teign Walk, Durrington, was fined £280 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (85mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Adur Avenue, Durrington, on January 8, 2020. She was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

James Reynolds, 42, of Middleton Road, Cobham, was given a community order with Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and must carry out 200 hours’ unpaid work after admitting assault by beating in Littlehampton on January 11, 2020. He must pay £150 compensation.

Casey Hemsley, 21, of Offington Drive, Worthing, was fined £250 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drug-driving (462ug/l benzoylecgonine) in Charmandean Road, Worthing, on July 7, 2019. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months. He also admitted drug-driving (4.9ug/l Delta-9-THC) in Charmandean Road, Worthing, on July 7, 2019, no separate penalty.

Jake Smart, 27, of Timberleys, Littlehampton, was fined £253 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (58mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in East Street, Littlehampton, on August 11, 2019. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months.

Matt Coughlan, 23, of Russells Close, East Preston, was given a community order and must carry out 80 hours’ unpaid work after admitting possessing a taser without authority in Littlehampton on April 11, 2019. He was fined £161 and must pay £85 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting possessing MDMA, a class A drug, in Littlehampton on April 11, 2019. He was fined £161 after admitting possessing cocaine, a class A drug, in Littlehampton on April 11, 2019. He also admitted possessing cannabis and cannabis resin, class B drugs, in Littlehampton on April 11, 2019, no separate penalty.

Michael Stapelberg, 26, of Charnwood Court, Farncombe Road, Worthing, was fined £389 and must pay £38 victim surcharge, £150 costs, after admitting drug-driving (4.9ug/l Delta-9-THC) in Findon Road, Worthing, on April 28, 2019. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

Georgina Edwards, 29, of Hampton Court, River Road, Littlehampton, must pay £250 compensation after being found guilty of assault by beating in Littlehampton on August 23, 2019. She also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour with intent, causing harassment, alarm or distress in Littlehampton on August 23, 2019, no separate penalty.
