IT is believed that a Jack Russell had to be put down after it was attacked by another dog in Worthing on Tuesday (May 22).
The attack is thought to have happened at about 9.20pm in Dominion Road, Worthing, at the junction with Angola Road, when the Jack Russell was attacked by a Staffordshire bull terrier who was with a woman.
It is understood that the dog had to be put down, and police enquiries are being made to trace the other dog, and the woman who was with it.
This is the second incident of a dog attack in Worthing this month.
