Laptops and camcorder stolen from Worthing church hall

SUSSEX Police are investigating the burglary of a church hall in Worthing.

The burglary of St Matthew’s church hall, in Tarring Road, took place overnight between Sunday, November 13, and Monday, November 14.

Burglars forced entry into the building, opened a filing cabinet, and stole two laptops, including a new Packard Bell Easynote LM, a brand new HD camcorder and £80 from a petty cash tin.

Police said the items are of sentimental value as they contained pictures and footage of the children’s harvest festival.
