Laptops and jewellery stolen in Worthing burglary

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after several computers and jewellery were stolen from a house in Worthing.

The house, in Ringmer Road, was broken into between 1pm and 9pm on June 23 and a white Sony 18in laptop computer and a silver Toshiba laptop were stolen along with a pink Sony digital camera.

Other items taken from the house included a white diamond band ring, a Gucci purse, bank cards and cash.

Detective Constable Dan Elliott from West Sussex CID said: “We are keen to trace a man who was seen near the house between 11.40am and 12.30pm.

“He is described as white, 5ft 10in, in his 20s, of stocky build and slightly hunched over.

“He had dark scraggly hair in a centre parting and was wearing worn looking black trousers of a shell suit appearance and a zipped blue tracksuit coat with a short collar.
