Littlehampton man stabbed during assault

A Littlehampton man has been stabbed during an assault on Friday afternoon (March 5).

Sussex Police was called to East Ham Road at 6.30pm to reports of an assault.

One man suffered cuts and a minor stab wound that did not require hospital treatment.

A 26-year-old man, who was known to the victim, was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and assault by beating.

He was interviewed and released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
