Man charged with burglary and stealing a vehicle in Worthing

A man has been charged with burglary and aggravated vehicle taking in Worthing in the early hours of Sunday (March 13).

Linval Thomas, 46, of no fixed address, is accused of breaking into a house in Lavington Road, stealing the car keys and taking a Nissan Qashqai vehicle from the driveway.

Thomas was arrested in Southwater shortly afterwards and later charged.

He appeared at Crawley Magistrates on Monday (March 14), and was remanded in custody to appear at Chichester Crown Court on April 11.
