A man was punched in the face in front of his children in an ‘unprovoked’ attack in Shoreham.

The victim was with his two children rollerblading at around 4.30pm on Saturday March 27 when he was approached by a man on a bicycle in the High Street, close to the Ropetackle area, said police. The suspect punched the man in the face and he fell to the ground.

And police want to trace a man, pictured, in connection with the assault, said police.

A spokesman added: “The man is white, 6’, aged in his 20s, of stocky build with short dark blond hair. He was wearing a black zipped jacket, black tracksuit type bottoms and black trainers.”

PC Dave Slade said: “The assault was unprovoked and was made even worse because it happened in front of his children. If anyone recognises the man or has information, please contact us.”
