Man stabbed in Worthing

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Officers received a call from a member of the public just before 3.50pm on Tuesday (26 May) to report a man being assaulted by three others in College Gardens just off Grand Avenue.

"On arrival, the victim and the suspects had left the area. Officers conducted a number of lines of enquiry and located the victim who was receiving medial treatment.

"Police believe there is no wider threat to the community and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault to make contact. You can report information either online or call 101 quoting reference 1045 of 26/05."
