Man wanted for Worthing knife-point robbery

A MAN is being sought in connection with a knife-point robbery in Worthing.

Police have just released details about the robbery which happened at the Mobile Phone Shop in Bath Place at around 11.15am on Sunday, August 7.

Detectives have released this CCTV image of a man at Worthing train station on the day of the robbery, who they wish to eliminate from their enquiries.

Detective Constable Laura Sinden said: “If you think it might be you or someone you know in this picture, please contact police immediately. We wish to speak to this man as part of the ongoing investigation into this serious offence.”

During the robbery a male shop worker, behind the counter, was threatened with a knife and was forced to hand over four phones worth an estimated £1,500.
