Men with crowbar attempt Worthing home break in

Two men attempted to force entry into a home in Worthing using a crowbar on Friday afternoon, a police spokesperson has said.

Police were called to a property in Lyndhurst Road after the owner reported that the two men were trying to break in through the back door at around 3.10pm, the spokesperson said.

A 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old man seen on foot nearby were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary, but following interview were released without charge, the spokesperson said.

Police are continuing their enquiries, confirmed the spokesperson.
