Model trains stolen from Worthing home

POLICE are appealing for information after model trains were stolen during a burglary at a Worthing home.

The trains and accessories are thought to have been taken from the house in Terringes Avenue between Wednesday, April 6 and Friday, April 22.

A Panasonic Lumix camera, a PS3 dual shock controllers, various blue rays and DVDs, an HP photo printer and a Sure Shot film camera were also missing from the property.

Jewellery was also taken, which included a pewter broach of a sheep, a pewter broach of a cow, a coral necklace and a silver burnished metal broach.

Detective Constable Chris Howbery-Gale, of West Sussex CID, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have been offered a large quantity of toy trains for sale, or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between 6 and 22 April.”
