A 17-YEAR-OLD arrested in connection with the death of a Worthing man will not be prosecuted, it has just been confirmed.
Sussex Police today (Friday, February 4) released a statement saying further tests had now revealed 49-year-old Frank Rhoder had died of heart failure, and not a head injury, as had previously been thought.
Mr Rhoder, of Valencia Road, died on Wednesday, December 29, last year. Shortly after his death, a 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, but was released on bail shortly afterwards.
As Mr Rhoder died of natural causes, there will not now be an inquest, and the CPS will not be prosecuting the teen.
