Police issue fresh alert after theft of valuable car parts in Southwater, Slinfold, Rudgwick and Maplehurst

A fresh alert has gone out from police over thieves stealing valuable parts from cars in villages around Horsham.

Officers say that the thieves are particularly targeting Honda and Toyota cars and stealing the vehicles’ catalytic converters.

Thefts have been reported in Southwater, Slinfold, Rudgwick and Maplehurst.

A police spokesperson said: “These thefts have happened during the night. If you see anyone acting suspiciously around cars, please call us on 999 if it’s happening now or on 101. We'd like to know.”
