Police search three properties in town centre

There was high police activity spotted this morning (October 5) in Warwick Road as police searched three properties in the town centre.

Sussex Police said the search warrants issued were based on ‘community intelligence’ and to ‘gather more evidence’.

A spokesperson from Sussex Police said the operation is ‘still in its early stages’ and are ‘unable to release any further information’.

It was confirmed drugs warrants were not issued and no arrests had been made at this stage.
