POLICE have today (Thursday, July 5) released details of a driver they want to speak to in connection with a hit-and-run incident.
The driver sped off, following a crash on the A24 on Saturday (June 30) at around 6.10pm.
Police said they were called to a four-car collision on the northbound A24 outside Chardonnays restaurant, just north of the Washington roundabout.
Nobody was hurt, but one of the cars, a red Volkswagen Golf, which had just pulled onto the carriageway, left the scene without the driver providing any details to drivers of the other three cars involved.
They were a black Lamborghini Murcielago, a black BMW Z4, and a orange Nissan Nivara.
PC Ben Henwood said; “We are appealing for witnesses to the collision and for any details of the Golf and its driver, believed to be a man on his own.
“If you have any information, please contact us at the road policing unit quoting serial 1492 of 30/6.”
