INVESTIGATIONS are under way after a woman was sexually assaulted in Teville Road, Worthing, at approximately 1.30pm yesterday (Sunday, March 13).
The 23-year-old local victim was approached by a man who asked her for a light for a cigarette.

“This is being treated as an isolated incident and I’d like to reassure local residents that increased high visibility patrols will be in the area supporting the investigation team.
“The victim was assaulted in broad daylight on a relatively busy road.
“A bus replacement service was running for the Worthing to Littlehampton train and it is possible the suspect may have been seen behaving suspiciously by passengers as the bus travelled along Teville Road.
