Storrington man released on bail following Shoreham footbridge stabbing

A 23-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of GBH following a stabbing on Shoreham footbridge has been released on bail today (January 11).

The man from Storrington has been released on bail until 31 January, pending further enquiries.

The victim, a man in his early 20s, has been discharged from hospital after suffering a small wound following the incident at around 4am yesterday (Tuesday, January 10).

Police are still appealing for anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 105 of 10/1 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
