Two new burglary alerts in Mid Sussex: jewellery stolen after incidents in Lindfield and Haywards Heath

Sussex Police have reported two new burglary alerts for the past week with incidents in Haywards Heath and Lindfield.

One, dated October 23, took place in Gravelye Lane, Lindfield.

Police said there was an attempted break-in to a property with ‘no lines of enquiry’. They said the incident occurred at about 4am on Monday, October 17. The reference number is 0498.

The second incident, dated October 21, happened at Blunts Wood Road, Hayward Heath. Police said a property was broken into via the back door and that a ‘messy search took place where items of jewellery were stolen’. The crime reference is 0266.
