West Chiltington teenagers charged after vehicles damaged in villages

Two teenagers have been charged with causing criminal damage to vehicles in Billingshurst, Pulborough and West Chiltington in May.

Hamish McLeod-Miller, 19, from West Chiltington and a 17-year-old boy from West Chiltington were each charged with five counts of criminal damage.

Both have been bailed to appear before magistrates in Worthing on September 8.

The 17-year-old cannot be identified for legal reasons.

A 14-year-old boy from Dial Post who was previously arrested in connection with the incident was released without charge.

Around 80 vehicles in the villages were damaged in the early hours of Monday May 4 and Tuesday May 5.
