Worthing boy, 12, has bike thrown into bush after ‘verbal altercation’ with man

A twelve-year-old boy in Worthing has had his bike thrown into bushes and briefly taken away during an argument.

Sussex Police said the boy was a in a group of others who got into a ‘verbal altercation’ with a man in Lamb Park, Durrington Road at around 5.20pm on Tuesday (March 9).

The 12-year-old's bike was thrown into some bushes, police said, before the man took it away entirely.

It has since been returned, but police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have seen a gold-coloured car in the area at the same time.
