A WORTHING woman who was given two ASBOs in less than four years has been evicted for “consistently disrupting her neighbours” by arguing with her partner.
Laura Davies, 52, was evicted by police and Worthing Homes on Tuesday, March 8 for “consistent anti-social behaviour” at her flat in Broadwater Street East, since she moved there in April, last year.
Neighbours complained about Davies and partner, Ronnie Davies, because of their “loud, abusive arguments”, which led to Davies being given a two-year Anti-Social Behaviour Order in December – only months after her last ASBO expired in April, 2010.
PC Marvin Lucas said police and Worthing Homes had worked “extensively” with Davies, who had been homeless before, to help her find independent accommodation.
But, since being homed, Davies had stopped co-operating with police, he added.
PC Marvin Lucas said: “Different agencies have worked extensively with Laura Davies over the past three years to secure independent living for her.
“However, this shows a good example of agencies working together to combat anti-social behaviour and protect the community.”
