Worthing dance students Molly Sloggett, left, and Olivia Flint won a host of medals at the Sussex Festival of Performing Arts in Crawley and Hove.
The girls are students at Suzanne Logan Dance in Worthing. Molly, 11 years, gained a first for classical ballet and received the highest mark of the whole week in the junior section for modern.
Olivia, ten, gained a first in song and dance, and the highest mark of the week in the junior section for character. She was also second in modern.
Performing as a duet, the girls were second in song and dance, and character.
They were also first in modern quartet, dancing with Amalie Duncan and Fleur Booloozian.
Grandad Mike Elborough, of Durrington Lane, Worthing, said: “To cap what had been a magnificent week, both Molly and Olivia were then invited by the adjudicator, Deborah Kate Norris, to compete in the Sussex Dancer of the Year on the final Saturday.
“Olivia was awarded runner-up in the junior section and Molly was awarded the Sussex Festival Adjudicators Award. Altogether a fantastic achievement by all the girls.”
