Dance performance to showcase talent

Dance students from a Lancing academy are preparing to take part in the Annual Dance Showcase.

The dancers, from Sir Robert Woodard Academy, are set to perform on March 28, 29 and 30.

The showcase offers students from across all year groups at the Academy the opportunity to present performances and choreography.

It will celebrate various forms of dance, from jazz to contemporary.

The varied programme of dances has been produced both in lessons and through extra-curricular clubs and activities.

There will be performances from the dance clubs and the gifted and talented students of the Academy Dance Company.

The showcase is particularly important for the academy’s Year 11 and 13 students, as this will be their last performance at the academy.

It will take place at the Alan Strong Theatre from 7pm from March 28 to 30. Adult tickets are £5, and concession tickets are £3. The box office number is 01903 875507.
