Dark Star ‘Revelation’ wins a gold at the Great British Beer Festival

On Tuesday, Dark Star brewery won a gold award at the Great British Beer Festival in London. Their ‘Revelation’ beer was voted best beer in the ‘Strong Ale’ category in the Champion Beer of Britain competition.

The 5.7 per cent IPA style beer had won through from local then regional heats.

“It’s great testimony to the work the brewing team have been doing, not only to innovate with new beers, but making sure that our permanent beers, like Revelation and Hophead are the very best they can be all of the time,” said Dark Star director James Cuthbertson.
