The A27 Upper Brighton Road westbound in South Lancing is partially blocked and traffic is queuing at Lancing Roundabout, because of an accident involving a HGV and a car.

Three fire engines and an ambulance attended the scene at 4.43pm at the Manor Roundabout.

A woman trapped in the car had to be assisted from the vehicle by the emergency services.

Traffic is currently congested to the Shoreham Harbour turn off.
