Dentist practice blaze 'suspicious'
POLICE have confirmed they are treating a blaze in a dentist practice in Furnace Green as arson.
Four fire crews battled for two hours to save the Town Dental Surgery in Furness Drive that erupted in flames early on Sunday.
The alarm was raised after the burglar alarm was set off.
A police spokesperson said: "It is being treated as suspicious.
"It seems there was a deliberate fire started in a rubbish bin adjacent to the premises and that spread to the dentist surgery."
