Digging 60's Revisited

Yeah, baby - for a blast of groovy nostalgia look no further than the next production from Little Common and Bexhill Players, 60's Revisited.

The show is a celebration of popular music from the era which brought us the Beatles, the mini-skirt, free love and moon landings, mixed with amusing sketches relevant to the 1960's.

60's Revisited will be performed on May 15-16 at the Shepherds Theatre starting at 7.45pm.

Tickets cost 6 for adults and 3 for the under-16s, and are available by ringing 01424 848170. The audience will be seated at tables and encouraged to bring along nibbles and drinks.

There will also be a 60's related quiz, with prizes, and the programme will include a song sheet so that the audience can join in with the well known songs, and if feeling really energetic, get up on their feet for the Twist.

The whole evening has been devised and directed by Elisabeth Douse and music will be by Margaret Smart on piano, and Ian Howell on percussion.
