Discount store plans to open in Worthing this year
Discount store Poundworld has confirmed that it hopes to open its first shop in Worthing this year.
The company has begun advertising for sales assistants and supervisors in Worthing on its website, which said the store was due to open in October.
A spokesperson for Poundworld said: “As part of our ambition to open 60 stores a year for the next three years, we’re looking at a range of suitable locations in Worthing, with a view to opening our first ever store in the town later this year.”
They were not able to give any information about the locations being considered for the store at this stage.
