Discussions on 20mph limit consultation for Worthing

The group, comprising those for and against the plans, includes representatives from taxi and bus companies.

Under the guidance of West Sussex County Council principal community officer Brian Morgan, the group began to discuss how the consultation would be shaped, and what question would be asked.

In a progress report to members of Worthing county local committee last Wednesday, Mr Morgan said there was debate within the group whether people outside Worthing should be included.

The CLC advised that name and address should be compulsory, while there was concern from several members over extending the consultation.
