Flowers and cards have been laid for him in Clifton Road, Worthing, where it is believed he suffered a “medical incident” behind the wheel of a car on Sunday, July 1, just after midnight.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “A man collapsed behind the wheel and an ambulance atteneded. Staff tried to resuciate him, but despute their best efforsts, the man sadly died at the scene.”
The photograph above, left on a floral tribute at the scene, shows the man.
