Drug suspect arrested in Worthing

A MAN was arrested after police officers allegedly saw him conducting a drug deal.

Sergeant Ian Kerr, of Worthing Police, said officers "interacted" with the 35-year-old man in Railway Approach, Worthing, at 5.15pm on Monday, March 23.

He added: "The man was searched and was found to have a substantial amount of cash on him which he couldn't account for and he also had some cannabis on him."

The Worthing man was then arrested, and has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
