Education roadshow to be hosted by JSPC

Along with their partners, staff from Sompting-based JSPC will offer advice on subjects including hardware, wireless solutions, single-server solutions, installations, tablet devices and anti-­-virus software.

Throughout the day, there will be organised break-out areas to give attendees the opportunity to speak to JSPC staff and service providers in greater detail.

There will also be a demonstration area to allow those attending to experience some of the products and services discussed, such as LearnPads, and an interactive table. To close the day, Sharon Girling OBE, a retired law enforcement officer and child protection advocate at the International Foundation for Online Responsibility (IFFOR), will be speaking on ‘Understanding Educating Young People on their Online Responsibilities.’ This will be followed by an open question-and-answer session.

The event is to be held on Friday, December 6, from 9am to 2.15pm at the American Express Community Stadium at Falmer, Brighton.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided, and there will also be an opportunity to enjoy a tour of the stadium, the home of Brighton & Hove Football Club.

JSPC held its first roadshow last year, and the interest generated from the event – and a broadband seminar, held at Shoreham Airport, in March – has encouraged the firm to stage another education roadshow.
