Eggcellent team building exercises at Worthing High School

AN egg drop and learning how to do magic tricks were just some of the challenges set for Worthing High School students at their enrichment day.

Year 10 students at the school in South Farm Road took part in the enrichment day on Monday.

Dana Dix, the year 10 leader, said: "The year group rose to all the challenges set and had a brilliant day. The challenge of working with other students on different activities made them realise team work is important."

There were team building exercises provided by the Army, including having to wrap an egg in limited packaging and then drop it eight feet without it smashing.

The assistant head teacher, Jonathan Millington, cooked Jamaican food for them to sample and other activities included football coaching by Paul Dolner, from Chelsea FC Academy and learning a dance routine and magic tricks by Chris Nicholson, from Sky TV.

Ian Lovatt, also known as "Ghostcopy", who has toured with Michael Jackson, Simple Minds and Slash, worked with students on composition and music technology.
