The Epilepsy Action Bognor Regis Coffee and Chat group meets on the third Wednesday of the month at Regis Brewers Fayre, The Esplanade, from 10am to midday.

Organiser Helen Joy says the idea is for people to meet and chat over a cup tea or coffee.

“It is a friendly group and we have regular evening social events, too,” she said.

“Our daughter Eden, the real inspiration behind forming the group, is now inspiring so many people with her figure skating lessons, refusing to let anything stand in her way of enjoying being active and living life to the max.”

Both Helen and Eden have been affected by epilepsy and the group was launched so the family could using its personal experience to help others in the same situation.
