Felpham students perform Jack and the Beanstalk

IT WAS all about the beanstalk, the giant and the magic beans at one Felpham school.

Pupils from Downview Primary School travelled to Felpham Community College to watch an adaptation of the classic Jack and the Beanstalk.

The show, which had a slight twist, was written, directed and stared some of the college’s Year 10 students.

With the thought of moving up to secondary school often being quite daunting, the older students set themselves the challenge of giving the Year 6 children a real insight into life in a secondary school from a student perspective.

For that reason students decided the performance should be centred around life at Felpham Community College.

After the show, the Downview pupils had a chance to spend some time with the cast and quiz them with any concerns they have about secondary school life.
