Felpham youngsters skip their way to fitness

Fifty children skipped their way to fitness in an hour-long workshop at Downview School in Felpham.

Girls and boys aged around ten learnt the thrills and skills of skipping by perfecting techniques such as criss-cross, cat and mouse and double dutch before they performed to the school.

PE co-ordinator Fiona McKenzie said: "Skipping is such an enjoyable and energetic exercise."
