The event has been organised by Worthing mum Sue Shelley and her two daughters Harriet and Charlotte Shelley. Sue was treated for Breast Cancer five years ago.

Opening at 10am, the festive charity morning offers live music from The School of Jazz, homemade cakes and treats and Christmas themed crafts for children.

Drop in and buy some cake or stop longer for a cup of tea or coffee and listen to some live music, the morning is open to all and everyone is invited.

Harriet said: “Please come along and support us if you can. Our mum had the very best treatment when she was was ill and the support provided by the local Butterflies Breast Cancer Support charity was overwhelming.

“We held a similar cake sale a couple of years ago and were bowled over by the number of people who came along on the day and supported us either by buying cakes, donating cakes or making donations. We’re hoping this event will be bigger and better and we are all really so grateful to the School of Jazz who are playing for free for us.

“Mum was incredibly lucky and this is just our way of giving a little something back. Hopefully we will raise a lot of money, all of which will go towards buying this new scanner which will help other mums like ours, nans, sisters, aunties and friends who have Breast Cancer.”

The charity bake sale takes place from 10am to 4pm at All Saints Church Hall in Findon Valley.
