Fire and flooding in Broadwater and Durrington

FIREFIGHTERS were called to separate incidents in Broadwater and Durrington.

Yesterday (Wednesday, October 13) firefighters were called to lit rubbish in an alleyway in Sheridan Road, Broadwater, at around 12.15pm.

The blaze was extinguished by firefighters using buckets of water.

Later that day, at around 3.46pm, firefighters were called to flooding in a kitchen in Wear Road, Durrington.

The flooding had started from leaking water pipes under a sink.
