Firefighters attended a fire in Winchelsea yesterday (Thursday, August 6).

Crews from Rye and Hastings were called to the scene in White Close just after 4.35pm after a blaze broke out in a single-storey building used as a garden studio.

The fire was in the roof when firefighters arrived. They used two hose reels to put out the fire, which partly destroyed the building.
