Firefighters help rescue person from Worthing multi-storey

A PERSON who suffered a suspected fractured arm in a Worthing multi-storey car park has been taken to hospital.

Paramedics needed help from firefighters to carry the large injured person from a stairwell on the first floor of the High Street car park down into an ambulance in Chatsworth Road.

Police temporarily cordoned off the pavement by the car park to clear the way for the person’s removal.

The incident was resolved shortly after 2pm.
