Firefighters qualify in ceremony

Ashley (pictured) will join the retained firefighter crew stationed in Lancing after passing an intensive initial training course. He qualified with Lee Stentaford, who will be stationed at Turners Hill, as well as Tom Williams at Bognor, Cameron Levitt at East Grinstead, Joe Cullum at East Wittering and Jacob Carey-Matthews at Henfield. Retained firefighters are men and women who combine their day jobs or duties with being on call for the fire service. To become a retained firefighter in West Sussex visit westsussex.gov.uk/fire.
