FIREWORK displays will be held in and around Worthing next week to celebrate Bonfire Night.
Thomas A Beckett Middle School will host a firework display, music and laser show on Monday. Gates will open at 6pm in preparation for the show at 7pm. Other attractions will include children’s rides, food, popcorn and drinks stalls. Tickets can be purchased from the school reception, South Street Hardware and Old Nick’s Fish and Chip Shop.
Worthing Lions and the Town Centre Initiative will host Tide of Light, a lantern parade and firework festival on Tuesday.
Lantern making will start at 6pm at St Paul’s Centre followed by the parade at 6.30pm which will end in Montague Place.
The fireworks, funded by the Lions, will start from the pier at 8pm. There will also be a funfair, street market, live music, food and a bar.
Worthing Rugby Club’s firework event will also take place on Saturday November 9, with gates opening at 6pm. Tickets can be booked on 01903 784706.
Findon Fireworks Fantasia will also take place on November 9 at St John the Baptist School.
There will be fireworks to music with barbecue, hot chocolate, mulled wine and beer available.
Gates open at 6pm with the display starting at 7pm.
