Firm could axe 70 jobs in Worthing

UP to 70 employees at a financial services firm in Worthing could be made redundant.

Arvato Financial Solutions, based in Liverpool Gardens, is considering closing its Worthing branch for ‘strategic reasons’.

A spokesperson for the company said a consultation process around the potential closure of its Worthing office had been launched following a review into its operating structure.

He said: “The client sectors serviced by our Worthing office have faced long term commercial challenges and, with a number of contracts coming to an end, we have had to consider closing the site for strategic reasons.”

He added that ‘every effort’ would be made to find alternative roles for any employees affected by the outcome of the consultation.
