Five charged with manslaughter of Julian Gardner

FIVE men have been charged with the manslaughter of Robertsbridge businessman Julian Gardner.

Anthony Hill, Senior Crown Prosecutor from the CPS South East Complex Casework Unit said: “I have today confirmed that Terrence Bristow, Marcus Bristow, Lee Delay, Christopher Leek and Paul Dunn will be prosecuted for the manslaughter of Julian Gardner at Bush Barn Farm, near Robertsbridge, in the early hours of October 11, 2010.

“This decision was taken in accordance with the Code for Crown Prosecutors.

“The five men will face the allegation at a plea and case management hearing at Lewes Crown Court next Friday (June 24) alongside charges of conspiracy to burgle Bush Barn Farm and conspiracy to pervert the course of public justice.

“A sixth man, Terrence Dunn, will also appear in respect of conspiracy to pervert the course of public justice.”

Terrence Bristow, 40, is from Chart Road, Great Chart, Ashford, Marcus Bristow, 31, of Mock Lane, Great Chart, Ashford, Lee Delay, 22, of Whitegate Close, Tunbridge Wells, Christopher Leek, 29, of Pear Tree Close, Cranbrook, Paul Dunn, 32, of Fryth Crescent, Cranbrook and Terence Dunn, 56, of Tanyards Estate, Sandhurst.

All the men reside in Kent.
