IT took almost 12 hours, but a group of teenagers successfully completed a 22-mile walk in aid of Children in Need.
The friends, all aged 15, left Worthing Pier at 8.30am on Saturday, and walked to Brighton Pier and back, finally completing the walk at 8pm.
It was organised by Maisie Bush, who did it with her friends Zoe Mansfield, Olivia Slide and Georgia Price, all of whom are 15 and attend Lancing’s Sir Robert Woodard Academy.
Maisie said: “We put a lot of effort into the walk, and wore fancy dress. We had our Pudsy ears on and painted our faces.
“It was harder than we thought it would be, and we had very sore feet at the end of the day, but it was worth it.”
The group, who all live in Lancing, raised more than £300 for Children in Need.
