GALLERY: ‘Fantastic’ jive event attracts 500 people

Around 500 people took part in the event, which saw five live jive bands entertain the crowds.

It was set-up by Tunbridge Wells-based band Jive Aces, well-known for appearing on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent. The band’s manager, Grazia Clarkson, said the event was well received.

She said: “It was fantastic and we had lots of really good feedback.

“People are already talking about doing one next year.”

It is the second time the event has been held in Worthing but Jive Aces have hosted similar things in the past.

Mrs Clarkson added: “Some people managed to dance for the full 12 hours. We do it because we obviously love the style of music and also we like to promote real music, with real bands playing and entertaining people.”
