GALLERY: Star riders defy gravity to wow crowds at Festival of Speed

Some of the most talented riders in the world have been showcasing their skills at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Legends from the world of freestyle motocross, BMX dirt, trials and mountain bikes have been putting on a high-flying show for visitors to the Goodwood Action Sports areana at the Festival.

World-leading competitors at the event include the Czech Republic’s Petr Pilat, Australian Steve Sommerfield, German Lukas Weiss and Britain’s Jamie Squibb.

Petr, who recently won the 2015 FIM European Freestyle MX Championship, said: “Last year at GAS we had such an awesome time, great weather, great people and such an unbelievable event... I am stoked to be invited back.”

Many of the competitors have been equipped with TomTom’s new Bandit action camera during the shows to capture the action from their point of view.
