Garden club’s 50th birthday show

The Fairlight Garden Club celebrated its 50th anniversary with a well-attended show and the hall was fragrant with the smell of the very fine flower exhibits.

The day ended with an auction of donated exhibits which were snapped up.

The Charles Long Trophy for the best rose - Anne Cruttenden
