Girl hit by car in Marine Parade
A GIRL has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Marine Parade this afternoon (Wednesday, June 18).
Police briefly shut Marine Parade at around 12.45pm this afternoon following the incident.
The girl, believed to be a foreign student, is thought to have been crossing the road when she was hit by the vehicle.
A number of police cars and ambulances are in attendance, with police taking statements from those involved.
