A police spokesman said Clara Collins, of Portslade, went missing from an address in Saltdean on Friday (February 12) to go and see a friend.

A police appeal stated she has been in touch with friends and officers but not told anyone where she was.

She was known to frequent Brighton, Worthing and Crawley.

Detective Inspector Ian Still said: “Clara has now been missing for nearly three weeks which is out of character for her and we are growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

“Clara is described as black, 5’2” and of slim build with straight shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing leggings, a white jumper and dark jacket.

“We would urge anyone who sees her or knows of her whereabouts to email [email protected] or call 101 quoting serial 1611 of 12/ 02.”
